Insalata Caprese Appetizers

Are you also a fan of insalata caprese - the famous Italian mozzarella-tomato salad?
If you are, you may like the idea of serving this salad as an appetizer, using cherry or grape tomatoes and mini mozzarellas (or cut a regular mozzarella cheese in cubes). Put one tomato, one mozzarella, and one basil leaf on a toothpick, and done you are. If you want you can add a tiny drop of olive oil and /or balsamic vinear, but be careful to avoid dripping. Some sprinkles of freshly ground pepper are also nice.
Perfect finger food, easy to snack on during a summer party!
