End of Summer Dinner in Switzerland
It’s been one of these beautiful last summer days in Switzerland – already a bit on the chilly side, but bright and sunny. So, Roland and I spontaneously decided to celebrate this glorious evening with what will probably be our last outdoor dinner in Switzerland for months to come.

We went to Bistro Steinhalle in Bern which I love for it’s beautiful and serene garden setting. Perfect to enjoy a glass of wine over a good conversation, but also highly recommendable for their food. They have an ever-changing menu, so I cannot tell you the dishes you should pick if you should ever make it there.

The day we went, we picked two of this week's specials: porcini risotto and moules de bouchot. Both were excellent! We also had their special dessert: apple mousse – truly refreshing and just right for the transition from summer to fall with its abundance of fresh apples.
