Hello New Year - Helloooo Ice Cream!

by Sun
When you get used to eating and doing the same things regularly, you can't help feeling bored or tired of them and often makes you desire something different.

Recently I've been getting super excited whenever I find and discover doing old things in whole new way! I think because it's not easy to be inventive on your own most of the times (at least for me). Unless you are already a creative person or have expertise in the area.

Here is one of the discoveries I have to share with you. Actually this is the part of the dinner Brigg made for us back in July. Now I can't wait to eat more ice cream!

Ingredients (4 servings):

1 pint of coconut ice cream (you can substitute with vanilla but coconut is preferred)
3 sliced baby bananas or 1 regular banana
1 sliced mango (or ripe peach)
1 sliced orange
1 tsp chopped ginger
2 tbs rice vinegar
2 tbs honey
1 tsp salt

1. Sprinkle the ginger and rice vinegar on top of the cut up fruits, and broil for 5 minutes

2. Place the broiled fruits on top of the ice creme

3. Sprinkle a pinch of salt and drizzle honey lightly on top and enjoy!

P.S. The juice from the broiled fruits is yummy too! The picture shows broiled sugar cane on top but it's optional.

Good eating!
